What astrology says about August babies
Perhaps you’ve got an August baby, or you’re expecting one very very soon.
While we’re sure you already know just how special your baby is, here are some fun facts about what you can expect from your August baby – according to astrology.
First things first, if your baby is born in August, they are either a Leo (July 23 – August 22) or a Virgo (August 23 – September 22).
Here’s what astrology has to say about Leos and Virgos.
Leo babies
Leos are known for their confidence; they’re also strong-willed, charismatic and proud. Leos love being the centre of attention (something to look forward to when your baby becomes a toddler!). When it comes to loyalty, there’s no star sign more loyal than a Leo.
As for what your little one could be when they grow up, Kathleen Sears writes in her book Astrology 101 that Leos are suited to a range of careers, especially ones with an audience.
“A Leo excels at work in front of the public,” she writes: think actors, speakers and CEOs. Leos make great teachers “because the classroom becomes their stage.” They’re also excellent writers, editors and journalists, and they’re also good with animals.
Virgo babies
Like Leos, a Virgo’s characteristics are just as appealing. Kathleen says in her book, “Virgos are like Geminis in terms of mental quickness and agility.” They are also very organised, intelligent and practical. Although charismatic, Virgos tend to be quieter than Leos.
Kathleen says that Virgos grow up to be very career-oriented. They’re happiest when working towards a goal that benefits society – social work, in a hospital, or with children. However, they can be perfectionists.
