How much influence does your baby’s name have on their life? Can a name really make or break your child’s acting or basketball career?

Probably not – but it’s still fun to read through ‘winning’ baby name ideas anyway.

A new study analysed the first names of thousands of ‘winners’ across the the entertainment and sport industry to see which ones won the most awards.

“We looked at the first names of over 2000 individuals who have won various awards in the fields of sport and entertainment,” says the website.

“We also chose only to use the names that the winners actually went by, rather than combining names such as ‘Robert’, ‘Bob’ and ‘Bobby’.

“If an individual had won more than one award then we only considered their name once. For example, Serena Williams has won seven Wimbledon singles championships, four Olympic gold medals and 12 ESPY awards, but for this research, we only considered the name Serena as one ‘winner’.

Here’s what they found.
