I actually quite liked using this in the plastic tub. We had another one for a bath tub but this fit best for what we had. You can adjust the length of the crotch. It doesn't have any padding but neither does a bath.. It was quite good for our active kicking baby with the high crotch so she couldn't kick herself off.

I tried a few of these type supports because due to a birth injury I have a shoulder dystocia and found it reallly awkward to hold her and wash her. This was probably the worst, no padding so it’s cold and not comfortable as well as slippery.... and that hard bit in the middle .... all I can say is think of all the little boys!

I liked the idea of this bath aid, I like the sturdyness and it was easy to clean. However I found out that as there is no padding, it could be quite uncomfortable for baby. The size also meant that it didn’t quite fit in my bathtub. It was a gift for my baby shower.
