We decided to get one of these for our first born to make the transition to solid foods as easy as it could be! It is great to measure, steam and blend! So if you want to just steam vegetables or fruit it can! But if you also want to purée it is fantastic. It is an all in one compact appliance that is a must have for parents wanting an easy and efficient way to start solids.

The Tommee Tippee baby food maker is one of the more affordable options on the market that can both steam and blend. It does the job well and the machine is very easy and straightforward to use. Overtime however, the blade does weaken and the thin plastic container is susceptible to yellowing and cracking.

I was given Tommee Tippee Baby Food Steamer Blender when I started introducing solids to my baby. I love love love it, I use it everyday and it is brilliant. Fruit takes 10 mins to steam and vegetables 15 mins with up to an extra 2 min for blending depending how smooth you want the food.
The blender container isn’t big but I usually can get 4-6 tommee tippee food containers filled.
I’ve had it for 3 months and used everyday but I have smoothed the outside blender holder that fits into the motor and now doesn’t spin as there is nothing to grip onto.
Overall it’s fantastic and worth the money if you are wanting to make your own baby food
