When choosing baby wipes for a baby with sensitive skin, firstly opt for ones that are fragrance-free. Other things to look for are soap-free, alcohol-free, and paraben-free wipes. If you want a truly pure wipe you can even buy ones that are moistened with water only – you can’t get much more gentle than that.
Eco-friendly and biodegradable
If you want to be conscious of not just the impact your wipes have on your baby but also their impact on their environment, there are the option of 100% biodegradable baby wipes. You can even get compostable wipes as well! These wipes are usually made from bamboo and have the added benefit of natural and gentle moistening ingredients as well.
Reusable
Cloth wipes make a lot of sense when you’re already using cloth nappies, but there’s really nothing gentler on your baby (or your wallet) than simply wiping baby’s bottom with a wet washcloth. You can also buy specially designed fabric baby wipes that are extra soft and absorbent.
