We tried all the type G harnessed car seats in store, even though the others were $150 more, this one was the widest and tallest and softest. The others made my 6 year old daughter feel squashed around the shoulders. very happy with and would totally recommend! The cup holder is an added bonus.

We bought 2 of these seats for our in-laws to have in their cars.
We absolutely love that these are the same shell as the maxi guard, they’re just more budget friendly.
They’re a Type G seat which means it’s extended harness til approximately 8 years of age which keeps the kids as safe as possible for as long as possible.
My daughter does get a little bit sweaty in here on a hot day, but that may just be her!
