I am never without my rain cover. The small fold down size allows me to have at the bottom of my pram most days. I was worried about covering my pram in plastic originally, however, the strategically placed air holes allow my child to stay dry and breathe. Although I’m not always dry on our walks, my son is.

I've used my pram cover on the odd occasion when travelling and it seems to do an ok job. When you have two seats on the pram the bottom seat definitely gets when, and if the little flap at the front is open bubs will also get a bit wet too,

This rain cover was great to cover the whole pram, including when I added the attachment for both kids to be in the pram. And it was greatly designed so that it didn't cover the pram in a way that could suffocate with areas of it being open for air.
