When we walked into Fantastic Furniture to look for a big boy bed, this was the first thing that our son saw and immediately ran over to it. He wouldn't hop off so this is the bed we ended up buying. It was great! Sturdy and comfortable and for the price I feel it is a good buy. We already had a mattress to use so we actually got out of it quite cheaply. The paint lasted, with only a few scratches and things from other toys being dragged over it
