The Little People Travel toys are perfect for hands on play. I purchased the aeroplane for my daughter after she be became obsessed with planes. It has real life sound effects and it plays songs too. I like that the Little People figurines are interchangeable with all vehicles.
Not sure if these are becoming discontinued or if they are just not stocked at all retailers, but I wish they were more easily available as I had to purchase online.
