I was recommended to thicken up my first son’s formula due to reflux and I was so confused. The amount it says on the tin did nothing so I called the helpline and they said it is my job to experiment and see how much my son would need. It didn’t helped at all, I tried for weeks and nothing changed for the good he just became constipated so I stopped using.

We were very keen to continue using a specific formula so this was the best option to add in! It 100% stopped our baby’s reflux, so we were very happy with that. It was just a little bit hard to wean him off, and this took a little longer than expected (about a month) for his reflux to dissipate when we introduced solids. I didn’t love that maltodextrin was an ingredient, but apart from that it is pretty natural with no other additives, so I think it’s the best option for treating reflux on the market today.
