These dip and read tests definitely work and do as they are intended to do. With easy to read sticks they are trustworthy and leaves no confusion regarding your result
But,. I personally dislike dip and read design, collecting urine in a cup feels unhygienic and not my go to way to test

I have used many different brands lately and for the price this one seems to be quite accurate and very easy to use and read. It comes with a plastic cup to collect the urine and then you dip your test strip in the urine collection for 5 seconds and then remove and place om a flat surface. Nice and easy. Wait afew minutes and check the results. Pink dye seems to be the easiest to use as blue dye tests can have quite solid evaporation lines.

Found these cheap and easy to use. Detected pregnancy early on, without any issues. Also great that they come in a 3 pack too. Can't compare to other brands, as we only used these ones but they did the job and were accurate. Would recommend for people looking for a good value test that simple to use and understand.
