I did lots of research before purchasing these, as I wanted something low tox for my newborn. These were the nappies I packed in my hospital bag! I found they fit well & were absorbent, but they have no wetness indicator (which is essential in the early days, waiting for bubs first wee in the hospital, and taking note of how often nappies are wet to ensure breastfeeding is adequate). Ultimately I had to swap to another brand with a wetness indicator, which is what our MCNH recommended. A shame, as these would have been great nappies otherwise!

Joonya nappies are a great non toxic alternative nappy. They’re incredibly soft and absorb quite a decent amount of liquid.

Cons are they are quite pricey and we had many leaks and blowouts with them. My son also seemed to outgrow them quickly, so it’s a possibility they are made a little smaller. They also have such an adorable print on them which I love. My one issue with Huggies is the ugly Disney prints they plaster all over their nappies.

Overall, great for a parent who is mindful of toxins and the environment. They are a decent nappy and will do the job, but also quite expensive.

They have a crappy trial offer but glad I still tried them they are a very nice nappy- but pricey and other very similar for a much more reasonable price. They design is nice and they are soft and comfortable for bub. Great knowing such low tox chemicals seeping in to baby
