I bought these stacking blocks for my daughter's first birthday. They are inexpensive, durable and good quality. She is now 2.5 years old and still loves them. She is learning different colours, animals and to count so the numbered sides, animal pictures and different coloured blocks help with that development. They stack up into a tower and also cascade down into each other to pack away. My daughter also uses them to scoop water up for water play.
