My son loves trains and Thomas the tank engine is a favourite. This motorized Thomas engine has been involved train races and taken part in many adventures on our wooden train tracks. I like that they use a AA battery (not button batter) and they are housed by a screw in compartment.

My son was gifted this train and track for his 2nd birthday and he still plays with it on a regular basis! The little switch is great for their fine motor skills and he loves saying toot toot as it goes around the track! We have begun buying extra track pieces and trains to continue adding onto this set that he already loves!
