Parents in the Tell Me Baby community love the Maxi-Cosi Mico Plus Baby Capsule. Lots of reviewers found it to be super spacious, with one mum saying, “Our baby lasted up to 6 months in this.” Other pros include the magnetic clip holders to keep the harness out of the way while getting their baby in and out of the capsule.
A couple of parents said the capsule was too big for their car and the front passenger seat needed to be too far forwards. One mum said she didn’t like that you have to use two hands to pull the hood down.
“My only criticism is that you need to pull the hood down with 2 hands from both sides, instead of just pulling from the middle which is the easier and more intuitive way to do it. (You *can* pull from the centre… but it damages the mechanism and pulls the hood out of shape.),” she wrote.
“One of my favourite baby products. Easy to use, super comfy for baby, and I loved the convenience for us!!! Bubs would happily sleep and travel around in the capsule. Love how it connected to our pram and we could conveniently go from car to pram in a matter of seconds, without having to disturb/move bubs. Super spacious, our baby lasted up to 6 months in this. I was sad when I couldn’t use it anymore. 100% recommend and will use again for our next baby.”

The Britax Safe-n-Sound Unity NEOS Baby Capsule Is highly rated in the Tell Me Baby community. It won the best capsule in the 2022 Tell Me Baby awards.
Parents say in their reviews that they love the “handy rocking function when used on its own.”
Another mum said they love the fact that this capsure goes from newborn to 12 months (make sure to follow the height markers though).
One parent found the capsule to be quite narrow, especially in winter when baby is wearing more clothes. Another said the fabric inserts “balled slightly” but it was easily fixed with a lint remover.
“Great capsule that is very versatile. Easy to take capsule out when bubs is asleep and pop on the pram. It also has a shade cover for pram use. And a handy rocking function when used on its own. It is very easy to use and has a great safety rating as well. I would recommend this product to others.”
