The thought is there, and for the average child, these are terrific. But for chunkier babies these aren’t amazing. While they are a great aid for teaching independent sitting, their one size doesn’t appeal to all babies and makes it difficult to get chubby legs in and out, making me question the comfort for little ones as they are in them. It would be great to see some size options with these seats and perhaps some more guidelines around how best to use them and recommended time limits on their use etc.

The Bumbo is a handy seat to have but not the most practical. I used this with my son on the rare occasion, mainly for haircuts rather than feeding due to how baby is positioned in the seat. It is also quite tight around baby's legs making it harder to get them in and out. Didnt seem to bother my son but i was afraid of hurting him trying to get him out

My daughter enjoys sitting in her bumbo seat but has quickly started to grow out of it. The seat is sturdy and the seatbelt is added safety for piece of mind but as she gets slightly bigger the more awkward she sits in it and harder to put her in. It was given as a gift without a tray, i would definitely prefer the tray style.
