I thought this was so expensive at first, when you can carry your baby in just a sling of stretchy fabric. But it is so much more comfortable for both of us to be in a proper carrier with the right adjustments! Not to mention much lighter in the hot summer months when baby already feels like a furnace against your skin. When bub was little he fussed for an hour at 5pm every day, but we learned to put him in this and walk around the block and he would go straight to sleep, completely happy! When my husband returned to work I used this to get things done without having to leave baby. It's awesome for things like shopping when you don't want to take a bulky pram. And bonus - it's great for events where you don't want people to touch your baby. I like that we didn't need to buy any special inserts and that it fits me just as well as my tall husband. If the price is too much, keep an eye on second hand sites as they maintain their quality and people sell them on when they're finished with babies.
