We bought this carrier and used it from birth with the newborn insert. In the first few months, this was the only thing that would calm our little boy down. He loved being so close to us and the carrier gave him great support.
We purchased the carrier on special and it has been a great value for money.
My husband and I were both able to put the carrier on by ourselves and put him in, even with him kicking away!
The fabric is quite good although is a bit thick and sometimes both our son and we would get too hot wearing it.
We also couldn't wear the carrier with him on front-facing outwards - it did not seem comfortable with our son's hips separated so much.
Otherwise, a really good supportive carrier

I really liked the wide seat base of the Ergo Performance carrier, as it's healthier for baby's hips and comfort.

However I'm 5'2 tall, and the carrier felt too big on my torso. I tightened it as small as it would go, but it still felt like baby was right up under my chin, and the waistband sat low.

Other friends who are similar height really liked theirs though, so perhaps try one on before purchasing.

Comfortable to use. My first child loved it and I used it all the time. My second child loved facing forward but not so keen facing in. Great to keep baby with you while you are doing chores. Found the adjustable strap difficult to clip up at the back by myself. Overall comfortable to use but did find my back got sore after awhile
