Isn’t too hard or too soft it’s a good texture and level of firmness. You can get cheaper ones but it’s not too pricey , does the job.

This mattress is so soft and comfortable to lay on, and my daughter has had no trouble falling asleep on this. It fits on her bed perfectly, isnt too high in case we have a fall and its firm enough to stay in place but flexible enough to not be a pain to make the bed with like others can be.
