This Manduca carrier is well made and well worth the cost. I tried several brands of carrier before purchasing ( through a fb babywearing group library) and this was by far my favourite carrier. The carrier is easily adjustable and the wide hip belt puts all of the baby weight through my hips not through my shoulders. She's over 7 kg now and it's still as comfortable as when I first used it. ( The Manduca can be used with newborns and includes a newborn insert). The fabric feels soft yet sturdy and the built in sun-shade ( which folds in and out) is quite handy when bub is too small for a hat or if you forget it. The carrier allows you to carry your baby in forward facing, hip or back carry. It's designed to place baby in the most ergonomic "M" shaped sitting position for optimal hip health. Don't be put off by the lack of an outward facing position option. The Manduca doesn't offer this option as an outward facing carry can be stressful for babies. My happy and curious now 10mth old has never minded always facing me and I love being able to see her face. I've also found it perfect if your baby needs a nap while you're out as my daughter would happily drift off to sleep in the carrier.

My sister gave me this manduca and I love it! It is very comfortable for both me and the baby. It can be worn numerous ways but I find on the chest the most comfortable. It's easy to put on yourself without help from anyone else. It's easy to wash and wears really well, after 3 kids it has minimal signs of wear.
