All three of my children gave my nipples a run for their money in the the first 3 weeks. They were so sore, cracked and bleeding. My husband bought this nipple shield for me and it honestly saved my breastfeeding journey. It took a while for bub to latch with the shield on. At first she would gag and push away, but once she realised milk came from there she latched pretty well. Feeding still hurt whilst wearing it, but it removed the direct contact and allowed my nipples to heal. Took about 3 weeks for the cracks to heal and about 4 days for the bleeding to stop. I could not recommend this product more.

I had a breast abscess when bub was 4 months old. It was so severe I had to go to ER and then admitted in hospital for 4 days and then saw breast surgeon regularly for 2 months. This is the product that got us through that period. Its shape is perfect for my nipple and allows bub to continue to breastfed without me having to endure more pain than it already was. It took only 1 day for bub to adjust. It also comes with a transparent protective case.

I had trouble breastfeeding in the beginning due to baby struggling to latch. I used a different brand of nipple shield and loved them. When I needed more I gave these ones a try. At first I didn’t like how rounded they were compared to the more cone/pointy ones I was using. But baby ended up being able to use them just as well with a little practice. We then ended up not needing them at all. Nipple shields taught her how to latch properly and if it weren’t for these magnificent things, I would have quit breastfeeding early on! These ones have a great container that keeps them clean also!
