I have 2 of these silk sleeves, one for the bassinet and one for the cot. My baby has thick black hair and I wanted to avoid getting a bald patch in the middle of it. My 2 year old has curly hair which tangles really easily and I wanted to prevent it while she sleeps. So far they’re doing both jobs brilliantly, I’d highly recommend them!

Great idea and an innovative design. Just think, when we sleep on various fabrics, it can cause friction and pull our hairs, leaving behind strands on the pillow or sheets. I was seeing my 4 month old hair grow thinner and I would see a lot of it on his bassinet sheet. I wondered if there was a way I could put satin or silk where his head lay. I researched and came upon Sleepy Silk. Using silk as a sleeve over the bassinet or crib sheet, how innovative! I purchased the Silk Sleeve, Set of 2 (Bassinet & Cot / Crib Sleeve) in Dove Grey. Very impressed with the care of the product's packaging, came in two neat keepsake boxes, a handwritten thank you note, protective paper to cover the silk, care and how to use instructions. After handwashing and air drying, I put the smaller sleeve on my son's bassinet padding (it fits his Halo Bassinet Swivel Sleeper which the mattress pad is shaped different than a normal bassinet pad...close to an hour glass design), making this sleeve design perfect! The adjustable zipper makes finding the size to fit on the mattress/mattress pad easy and a snug fit. The first night I saw a difference! Compared to the amount of hair I was finding on his sheet, I didn't notice hairs on the silk sleeve where he slept. My little one, moves around a lot too. He has straight hair. I would highly recommend this product! Customer service is excellent too!

I wish I thought to get it sooner... my baby already had a small bald spot when I got it, but after using it for a few weeks all her hair is growing back and staying put, thanks to this great crib sleeve! Super easy to get on the mattress and easy to take care of - I love sleepy silk! I’ve already recommended it to a bunch of my mum friends! Don’t wait - order now - you won’t regret it!
