I bought this as a manual pump - thinking it would be good to use occasionally if I wanted to only pump one side or quickly.

I also kept it in my pump bag - as I could convert my flanges to a manual pump in case of emergency (I was exclusively expressing, so needed a backup plan - thankfully the S1 pump always functioned well.)

It’s compact and good for travel - fits with your standard flanges so less you have to pack.

I didn’t have heaps of success with using it - much preferred the electric pump even if I only needed to pump for a few minutes.

Definitely gave me peace of mind in case of emergency though.

Would recommend for an emergency pump only. Not everyday use.
