You can also add on to the collection with more trains, which are quite inexpensive. Great gift for 1-2 year olds that love watching Thomas. Highly recommend purhasing these.

These trains are a good starter collection if you have a train loving child. They fit on the Thomas tracks and they all link together. My 2yo found it a little hard to pull them apart and put them together, but having them for almost a year, he has worked out a way. The connector hooks can pull off with force, but can easily be put back on if not broken.
