I used this once a day in pregnancy and it took away that uncomfortable itching feeling you get as you grow bigger. I still got stretch marks, but only right at the end of pregnancy. I only used it once a day instead of twice because it was quite oily, so just did it before bed. The smell was lovely and it became my little act of self care each night. I knew it was safe to use as my midwife recommended it.

I try to only use organic beauty products and this was especially the during pregnancy / postpartum. I was super keen to not get stretch marks if possible, so I bought a heap of preventative creams and oils. This was a great natural oil that I would rub over my belly and sides and it definitely helped nourish my stretched skin and prevent stretch marks. I don’t have any now 6 months postpartum so I am pretty happy with this product. I was given a small bottle to try and so I used this maybe once a week and alternated with a cream as well. You only need a little bit of oil so the small bottle went a long way. I would have bought more but I had already bought some other creams.

Weleda belly oil has a very nice subtle fragrance. It feels nice on the skin and moisturised without feeling too heavy. I loved putting it on but I’m not sure anything would’ve prevented my stretch marks. My tummy and hips were covered in them but the oil did seem to stop the itching.
