These emery boards are as good as any other, but no emery board is good for use with babies. These files are tiny and hard to maneuver around bub's fingers, and it is impossible to apply the right amount of force to file the nail, but not too much that would hurt them.

I brought these nails files thinking they would be super handy for when my little was here, they come in a little case and there are quite a few in the packet. I tried to use them multiple times and found they didn’t file down my sons nail at all, in the end I gave up and brought a different product.
I would not recommend buying these at all.

I purchased these before our baby was born as I was really worried about cutting my newborns nails.
I gave the nail file a go but they were not really effective in trimming the nails. I just moved onto baby nail clippers after that. I would recommend the emery board to round out edges after cutting with a nail clippers though.
