This thermometer is pretty expensive but very effective. I use it mainly to check the room temp and bubs temp but will always double check with an under arm thermometer on bub. Seems to be accurate and easy to use the different functions. Nice to have but probably not a necessity.

This thermometer was purchased for us as a gift and since bubs arrived we have used this all the time! It’s super easy, user friendly and have a lot of great functions. I have used this to measure the temperature of other items such as water, milk and food. It’s an all in one!

We purchased this thermometer because the normal ones take a whole to use and it’s hard to hold under a wriggly baby’s arm long enough to register a reading but we have found the reading is not accurate. It was saying my daughters temp was 35.9 when it was actually 37.8.

With this thermometer it is so easy to point at the temple (2-3cm away) and within seconds you have a reading.

There are other settings on there you can use but I personally haven’t tried them so I can’t comment on that.

There’s an option to have the sound on or off which is great if you need to take a sleeping babies temp and don’t want to risk the little beep waking them. The screen lights up so you can see in the dark and if the temp is high the screen will change colour.

I really love that it is non contact so therefore no cleaning is required and it comes with a hard case to keep it in and protect it.
