Why testimonials are so powerful

As any parent will know, a lot of time is spent researching the best products for their children. One way parents gather information about products is through word of mouth, and another is to read testimonials. 

In fact, recent research conducted by Tell Me Baby found 94% of parents read reviews before buying a baby-related product. Crucially, an overwhelming amount of parents (98%) said consumer reviews influence their buying decisions when choosing baby products.

As a premium brand, ergoPouch were able to showcase their reviews on competitor product pages on Tell Me Baby using the native review ad. This strategy achieved an impressive CTR of over 4%, tempting parents away from competitor product pages. 

Not to mention, all brands and products on our website are automatically in with a chance to win the best product in a category in the annual Tell Me Baby awards, and for ergoPouch – this was the icing on the cake. 

The popularity of their product range and the number of reviews captured meant ergoPouch won Best Sleeping Bag in the Tell Me Baby 2020 Awards, based on the high average star rating given by Aussie parents. ergoPouch can now use this award and the reviews they have collected to push potential customers over the line and buy their product.
