This is the perfect size for a couple of small snacks. When our five year started school, the teachers asked that fruit snack was packed separately to lunch (to avoid kids getting confused about what to eat, when) so we bought this matching snack box for the bbox lunchbox we already had. It has been excellent! It fits a full sized apple in one compartment and you can even fit a small circular container if you want to pack something more messy. We haven't really tested how leakproof it is with liquidy foods (we use an extra container or the bbox thernos for that) because our kiddo sometimes doesn't shut the snack box properly before throwing it into her bag. It's easy to take apart to clean and the cokour combos are great! We also use it on weekends for car snacks.

I bought these for my daughters, 9 and 10. I thought the snack boxes were a bit smaller than expected, but you can actually get a lot in them and they are perfect for substantial afternoon snacks before the next activity. Great colours and good value on sale. Highly recommend.

I did take me 10 minutes to figure out what the silicone round shape was for (I didn't read the label), but having a soft roof to include an apple in the snack box without making the whole thing bigger in school bags is brilliant design.

It's also small enough to fit in the lunch bag with the lunch box.
