The Bugaboo changing bag is a well-made and stylish baby bag. It has plenty of space and attaches neatly to most Bugaboo prams. The fabrics and materials make it look cohesive with the pram, though not all pram colours have a matching bag option. I purchased the Desert Taupe bag and, although I was initially hesitant to choose a lighter colour, the water-repellent fabric genuinely resists marks better than expected — and the colour is lovely. The PU base adds durability, and the three clip-together clutches inside are a clever feature for keeping things organised. The foldable change mat and sturdy zippers round out a solid design.

That said, it’s very expensive for what it is. Many premium nappy-bag brands — companies that specialise in designing high-end, functional bags — offer comparable products for less. It does feel like you’re paying more for the Bugaboo brand name than for the bag itself. It’s also quite bulky. While smaller and sleeker than some other shoulder-style nappy bags, it’s still too large for everyday use. I mainly use it as a travel or hospital bag, as it’s awkward to carry with bub in my arms, and I’ve never attached it to my pram due to the size. That said, as a travel bag for bub, it’s fantastic.

Overall, a high-quality, spacious bag — great for parents who like a shoulder bag and extra space, but pricey and bulky for minimalists or short outings.

I prefer to use bugaboo branded nappy bags as I find them easy and safe to attach to my pram. It is on the more expensive end, however I find the quality is great. They are sturdy, easy to clean and the compartments are cleverly designed. The insulated pockets are super handy for saving space.
