I bought this pillow during my second trimester when I was experiencing shoulder and hip pain. Within two weeks the filling of the boppy pillow started separating and clumping making it really hard to sleep on. The velcro meant it wasn't flexible to position any differently and not using it resulted in having hard velcro strips rubbing up against me.

I definitely would not recommend this pillow, I have no idea why the reviews are so great - maybe they changed their materials since I bought it, but it's definitely not worth the money.

This is my first pregnancy. Started using this pillow from my first trimester due to back pain as recommended by the Physio. I am now 32 weeks and can’t sleep without this pillow. It really helps to support my hip and allow me to sleep on my side in a relaxed way.

This pillow was an absolute god send for me.
I had extreme pain in my lower back, hips and pelvis. I tried other, cheaper versions and was disappointed. This was the only pillow that eased my pain and discomfort. The downside is the price. And obviously you only use it for nine months. But I passed mine on to a pregnant friend and she loves it too.
