Ive owned a few different carriers but as far as structured ones go this would be my fave. Its easy to use with large easy to open clips and nice wide easy adjust support bands, my four kids have absolutely loved being carried in it and without fail the sleepy dust always happens.

Bub recently got a bit big for my old carrier and I was getting back pain so we upgraded to this one. It has been fantastic. I can wear bub (nearly 10kg) for a solid couple of hours walking with no problems. Bub is very comfortable and absolutely loves being in the Carrier. Well worth the buy. Can't however comment on the infant insert as haven't used it.

The Ergo baby carrier was a very handy carrier to have with 3 children in the house, I discovered the ergo performance for baby #2 and found it to be easy to put on and was comfortable to wear. When the next baby arrived I attempted on a few occasions to use the newborn insert without any luck, I used another brand during this period then went back to the ergo. The carrier by itself is very good just not a fan of the insert.
