We have had this seat for three kids. It has lasted active boys who eat, cover with sand and put feet all over. After 6 years there is minimal pilling on the fabric. It is great for extended rear facing and has a decent amount of recline options. Also benefit of being machine washable cover.
For our baby due soon we needed a carseat for a hilux which doesn't have much room, surprisingly this was better then the compact seat we had purchased for the car.

This is the best car seat we've used, we have other seats in my partners car and this by far is way better. It's also great because it extended rear faces, my just turned three year old still fits rear facing and will easily be able to make it to four years old.
