I was lucky enough to get a free sample of this from Tell Me Baby. I have 3 children who have all been breastfed and have moved them on to Karicare once weaned. My 3rd has been the trickiest and not been a huge fan of taking the bottle. She’s just turned 1 and I’ve been keen to wean her so I can have some freedom in the evenings. She has taken to this formula well and likes drinking it (hurrah!). Even though she can drink cow’s milk now, I feel more comfortable knowing she’s getting more vitamins and minerals when she drinks this formula.

I got to trial this product for my 18 month old toddler recently. She usually drinks a cup of cows milk before bed. I was excited for her to try this because she is such a fussy eater so I was very hopeful she would like it as a way to get some extra vitamins in her diet. She unfortunately did not like the taste of it by itself initially. However, when I made it up and mixed half with cows milk she did drink it and mixed in with things e.g. cereal she doesn't seem to mind. So I think once she gets used to the flavour it will be a great way to get her some extra vitamins.

I was gifted karicare toddler formula 12m+ to trial and I was super excited as this is the formula I have been using for the last 8 months. My son absolutely loves the taste often wanting a second bottle! and it is extremely gentle on his tummy and has not aggravated his reflux, I will honestly say I was hesitant to try this originally due to how cheap it was with the impression it would be inferior to aptimal but it definitely is not! It breaks down nicely in the bottles leaves minimal residue (to be expected for me due to using 6 scoops a bottle) it has a nice smell to it compared to a lot of other formulas. My toddler can’t have full cream milk due to digestive issues but he can handle this formula and it has been a god send during this cost of living crisis especially at the price it retails for of $20 or $16-$18 or sale needing 2 tins a week would hurt the budget.
