These are excellent and are great during the cooler months. I always worry that bub is cold but knowing she can't unwrap herself out of this means she won't wake up cold during the night. My only criticism is that her hands get very cold in it some nights, I think the fabric on top is too thin. Other than that, they're great and would make a great baby shower present.

I really thought baby would love these as she always had her arms up at our ultrasounds so I bought a couple prior to her arrival. However, when she’s in them her hands in the pouches brush her face and trigger her startle reflex making it impossible to settle her so we’ve swapped to the ergo. From what I gather it’s up to the individual baby as to whether they work for you or not.

I’ve been using the Love To Dream swaddle bags since my son was born and upgraded him to the 2.5 a couple of months ago once it started to get a little cooler during the night. They are the perfect design for my baby as he sleeps with his arms up beside his face, and I find that he drifts off easier with them than he does without. He’s always in one of these sleeping bags whether it’s throughout the night or just a day nap- they’re an essential for us. We have them in different prints too which are really cute.
