My baby was having trouble settling during all of his sleeps whenever he was in his bassinet. A friend suggested this doll. I was impressed by how soft it was and the heartbeat sound. However my son never took to it. I tried different volumes and different places to put the doll but nothing worked. It worked well for my friends daughter so I guess every baby is different. Sometimes you never know unless you give something a go.

I was having trouble getting my girl to sleep and was given this to try. I gave it a good try but after a few weeks it just wasn't doing what I was expecting and I happily returned it to its owner. I don't think it works truthfully. Maybe for others however.

We tried to Lulla Doll when my daughter was having a terrible sleep regression (just before 2yo). She loved playing with the doll and wanted to sleep with it overnight but the heartbeat was never strong enough for my daughter to notice and she preferred the doll without the hard mechanism inside it. Perhaps we had a faulty one, but for us it was not as helpful/comforting as we hoped.
