I have a family member who had this for their bub and used it on their play mat. Their bub would happily play on their mat for ages when using the pillow. Tried it with my second bub and found bub would stay settled on their mat for much longer than without it! I wouldn't personally use it for sleep but bub sure must have felt comfortable!!!
