I bought these for my first son as I was told it’s a great first food, I ended up doing BLW instead and this was more exciting for my son to teach him how to eat. I don’t really like this product as it’s not the best, but it does do the job for busy parents who need something nutritious for their baby. I wouldn’t buy for my now second now though, there are way better ways to add iron into your diet in a more exciting, less bland way.

I love how nutritious it with the whole grain as well with addition of the pear. Pear is great for regular bowel movements which is a huge positive for my daughter who can have bouts of constipation. I also like to thicken the consistency of the cereal and fry them as pancakes adding in some extra muesli and banana for texture!

Like this whole range, the nutrition value of this is great for bub. However, despite the pear added to this, it is still incredibly bland and my sons refused to eat it unless I mixed another flavour into it. The soft lumps of the pear are useful in training bub to eat lumps and move their tongue whilst still being choking safe.
