Overall, the NUK Double Electric Breast Pump is a decent pump and the double pumping feature is a big plus, as it saves time. The suction levels are adjustable, it’s fairly easy to use, and the pump is reasonably comfortable for regular expressing. I also like that it’s compact and the parts are easy to assemble.

The main downside is that it only comes with 24mm and 27mm flange sizes. The 27mm option comes with a suction cup but isn’t truly hands-free. You can make it hands-free by purchasing a pumping bra separately. There are also quite a few parts to clean and sterilise, which can be time-consuming. Overall, a good pump, but a more hands-free design and simpler cleaning would make it better.

I’ve really liked using the Nuk Soft and Easy pump so far! I have been using it on one side of my breast while baby latched on the other side as well as extra pumping sessions at night. I love that there are different pumping modes and settings, so I could find what worked best for me, stimulating letdown etc. The fact that it’s rechargeable was also a big plus — I didn’t have to stay next to a power point while pumping and watching TV. It was thoughtful to include two different flange sizes as we are different sizes. The bottles for expressed milk fit right onto the pump. The teat can be put on and fed to baby straight away or stored without needing different adaptors! Overall, it has been a great and convenient pump that I’ve been happy with!

Unfortunately my breastfeeding journey ended sooner than expected so I didn’t get the opportunity to explore this pump to its full extent. As a mum who has used breast pumps previously, there are still a number of features I liked about this pump, including 100% skin soft silicon cups, a simple control unit, adjustable suction settings, it’s quiet and very light.
While I can’t comment on long term use, based on the design and features I think this is a really well thought out pump.
