I purchased this teether for my 9 month old to assist with teething. It has 4 different textures for those little gums to chew down on and has easy to grip holder. Both my babies loved this little teether - it is very colourful, so keeps them occupied looking at it in the earlier days. Then there's different textures and bits that move etc, not only soothing for their teeth, but also keeping them quiet and stimulated. Seemed to help relieve the painful lil gums, always soaked in saliva by the end of it
