We brought this as a second car seat and it does the job for the price. It's compact, pretty easy to install and fits ok into a hatchback. However, the seat being compact is a bit of a tight squeeze for my 8.5 month old who is not a huge baby. I would have been unhappy if we paid more than we did for it but it's ok for the price. The other thing I dislike about this is that the headrest needs to be adjusted and locks in unlike other models where it can just be moved freely. Because my son is not very tall, for the headrest to support his head properly it pushes on his shoulders and it is uncomfortable for him, but I'd it's moved up too far then it won't support his head in an accident.
