I got this cutie on special at a fantastic price. It is made from a soft rubbery material and feels quite flexible which Im sure gives it the snug fit. While not really a necessity it just adds a cute touch to the gro eggs (can fit both the gro egg and groegg2). The light is able to shine through the rubber of the owl creating a nice glow effect.
