My bub was born premature and had to be bottle fed expressed breastmilk for his first 6 weeks of life. These were the bottles we chose to use and he took them from day one! The teats are nice and soft. We were recommended these by a lactation consultant who was helping us to move from bottle feeding to breastfeeding and it all worked out perfectly! After 6 weeks on bottles my son easily transitioned to breastfeeding.

These are super accessible (can be bought at Cole’s and woolies or baby stores and chemists) and really affordable. I also love that when moving to the next size teat, you don’t need to purchase new bottles, just teats!

I used these teats for my first son for a couple of weeks as they were super cheap and affordable and I got given a tonne from my in-laws. My son didn’t take to them very well - he sucked in a lot of air and struggled to go from bottle to breast - we transitioned to pigeon and it changed everything. It might work for some but it didn’t for me.
