I haven’t owned any wearable pumps, but I was in the market to get one so this trial came at the perfect time.

I was looking for something light, comfortable and easy to use.
These are all important in my pumping routine as there is nothing worse than being in discomfort while pumping.

When first unboxing this The Tommee Tippee Double Wearable Breast Pump, it felt like Christmas. It was very nicely packed and was I delighted to open it.
The nipple measurement guide and the 5 insert sizes (13–21mm) make fitting a breeze.
The travel case is a big tick from me and looks very stylish.

When looking at the pump I thought the horn was not fitted correctly and it would cause leaking.
After a bit of playing and adjusting I had them set correctly.
It was a bit fiddly but the more I use it, the easier it gets.

I have found the pump is a bit bulky and can sometime move position and spill if you are moving around too much while wearing it although the comfort level is great.
But it is great to not have cords in the way.
I also found that the output is not as much as other pumps but I am still getting what I need.
Recharging, cleaning and using has been simple and easy to do.
This device has been comfortable and very quiet so using it around the house has been a daily priority.
I have found that the output on this pump has not been as high as some other pumps but there could be a number of different reasons for that, not necessarily relating to the pump.
The Tommee Tippee Double Wearable Breast Pump is a bit expensive, but I would recommend this to other pumping mums who are looking to spoil themselves a little bit.

I’ve breastfed three kids now and tried a few different pumps over the years, and this one has honestly been such a game changer.

The biggest thing is the freedom. You’re not stuck sitting in one spot, I’ve used it while doing the dishes, out at dinner, even in the car on school drop-offs. It just makes life so much easier, especially with multiple kids.

It’s pretty easy to set up once you get the hang of it, and the sizing guide definitely helps with comfort and getting a good result. It’s not as strong as a hospital-grade pump, but for me the convenience outweighs that. I still get a decent amount when I’m consistent.

It’s also more comfortable than I expected. Once it’s in place, you kind of forget it’s there, although it can be a bit noticeable under tight clothes.

A couple of small downsides you need to position it properly or it affects output, and you have to be careful pouring the milk so it doesn’t spill. Cleaning takes a bit of time too, but that’s pretty standard.

Overall, for busy mums, this is honestly amazing. It’s not perfect, but the convenience makes it so worth it.

Functionality and practicality are the deciding factors for me when choosing a breast pump. As a busy mum I’m always interested in any product that genuinely makes day-to-day parenting simpler, and the whole point of a wearable pump is to get your hands back and make life easier. I want something I can put on, adjust once, and then largely forget about while I get on with other things.

Overall I was really impressed with this pump. It was very easy to set up and use, and performance was solid, with plenty of suction levels and modes so you can adjust depending on what you need on any given day. I also really liked the visible timer which makes it easy to keep track of sessions.

One of the standout features for me was the flange insert system. The pump comes with a standard 24mm flange size, but also includes multiple flange inserts in different sizes along with a measuring guide. This is fantastic. Getting the correct size can be stressful when buying a pump, but this completely removes the guesswork. You can try different inserts until you find the right fit and even swap sizes mid-session if needed. It also means the pump can adapt if your size changes during your breastfeeding journey, which is a huge plus. For me, this insert system alone removes one of the biggest stresses when buying a pump — getting the flange size wrong — and makes it much easier to start pumping confidently straight away.

Comfort is good now that I have adjusted and found the correct insert size, which was overall quite intuitive. With the right fit, the pump sits comfortably and doesn’t require constant adjustment during a session. The bra extenders included are a thoughtful idea and possibly intended to remove the need for a separate pumping bra, which makes a lot of sense for a wearable pump. In theory this is a great idea, however the clips on the extenders are quite large and will not fit with every bra. Unfortunately this was the case with my bra clips, but otherwise these would have been a great inclusion.

The convenience factor is where this pump really shines. Being able to pump hands-free while doing other things is a game changer, and the dishwasher-safe parts make cleaning much easier on busy days.

Overall I would recommend it to mums looking for an easy-to-use wearable pump, especially newborn mums or busy parents juggling multiple kids.
