Designed by a team of parents who are also medical experts, the Goldilocks Suit is more than just a baby monitor: it’s a smart singlet designed to give new parents peace of mind while monitoring and recording their baby’s temperature, sleeping patterns, breathing, feeding and development.
When your baby cries, you can access the app to see if they’re ready for a feed, check if they’re too hot or too cold, or going through a leap – just to name a few features.
Insights about your baby’s development
But that’s not all. The Goldilocks Suit and app goes one step further, giving parents essential insights about their baby’s development.
The development information provided is created in collaboration with experts from WINK and Mother Nurture, and is all backed by scientific evidence. It promises to give parents access to exclusive clinician-grade advice when they need it most – when they’re not sure about a developmental or behavioural stage, or are curious about what might come next as their little one continues to grow and change.
“We constantly questioned ourselves”
Goldilocks founder Shem Richards said he came up with the idea for the app after his daughter was born.
“In our sleep-deprived and stressed mindset, we forgot all that information that we researched,” he said.
“We constantly questioned ourselves: Is she hungry? Is she too hot or cold? Is she tired?
“We set about coming up with a solution for parents that is easy to use and that answers the simple questions they so often have.”
And the rest is history!
