The New Maxi-Cosi Prams

Share it

If you’re familiar with Maxi Cosi you probably know them as one of the biggest brands of car seats in Australia. They’re most known for their infant car capsules that are designed to be teamed up with prams to create complete travel systems. So many different brands of prams have Maxi Cosi adaptors as an optional accessory.

So it just makes sense that Maxi Cosi have finally bought out three new prams to the Australian market.

Now you can match your Maxi Cosi infant car capsule with your Maxi Cosi pram. Making your travel system that much easier and more streamlined.

They have brought out a full sized pram, a compact pram, and a double pram. So they are trying to meet a range of parents needs.

Zeila Urban Stroller

Maxi-Cosi Zeila Pram

The Zeila Urban Stroller is Maxi Cosi’s full-sized pram. It ticks so many of the boxes people have when they’re looking for a pram.

It’s suitable for newborn. In fact, the seat converts effortlessly into a bassinet, which is an awesome feature.

The seat is reversible to be both parent and forward facing. It has a huge basket and extendable canopy. The Zeila Urban Stroller can be folded with the seat attached. Though it is still pretty bulky when folded and I found the fold took a little bit of practice to get it to go down quickly.

Overall it’s a great everyday city and suburban pram.

Laika Compact Stroller

As the name suggests, the Laika Compact Stroller is Maxi Cosi’s most compact option. The Laika Compact Stroller is a lightweight 6.8kgs and folds down quick and compact.

This zippy little stroller is perfect for city living and travel.

For a newborn you will need either a Maxi Cosi infant car capsule, or a carrycot, which are sold separately, as the seat does not fully recline.

Also be aware the weight capacity on the seat is only 15kgs, which might be a little low for families.

Dana for2 Stroller

Last, but definitely not least, is the Dana For2 Stroller.

The Maxi Cosi Dana For2 Stroller is a side by side stroller that’s suitable for siblings or twins. Both seats fully recline, so it is suitable for newborns, and each seat has a weight limit of 17kgs. If you’re setting it up as a travel system it can fit either one or two Mico Maxi Cosi infant car seats. The basket underneath is huge, so perfect for all the gear you’ll need to lug around with two small children. And it has an impressive compact fold for a double pram. Though it weighs 16.5kgs, so it’ll take some muscle to lift it in and out of your boot.
