We chose to shop budget for as many baby items as we could. However due to how much of a babies life it sleeps we decided not to cut corners when purchasing a cot mattress and I'm happy we did. My son sleeps like a dream on his mattress. He has allergies and eczema so I feel confident with him resting on the organic aloe Vera mattress.

Got this second hand from family (who used it only a few times when they had a bub stay with them) it has been good for my older child and seems to limit the amount they sweat (usually sweat alot in their sleep even in thin layers). Bub moved from a different room and cot to this one and I haven't noticed a change in sleep which is a huge plus!
