The silicon around the edge make these the most comfortable breast shields, and the fact that they come in different sizes. It was noticeably more comfortable than the one I was using before.
Make sure you rinse with cold water and store properly as I've noticed the silicone can get a bit out of shape, but they always go back fine after a wash in nice hot water.

As a new mum I was super scared about the pumping experience and it being painful, but the Medela range and in particular this suction cup was amazing. It was so gentle, it made the whole process so much easier. The cup is big enough to fit large sizes in (E size for me) and it’s so comfortable. It was important for me to find a comfortable and gentle brand, and this one was recommended by the hospital and Baby Bunting store rep, even though its expensive it was 100% worth it.
