The Basics

Q: How do I sign up to Tell Me Rewards? Does it cost anything?

A: You sign up by using your email address and creating a password. It’s completely free to create an account and to take part in the program. You can sign up here.

Q: How do I earn points?

A: The main way to earn points is to leave reviews of products you’ve tried. Review points are awarded as follows:

– 100 points for every product you review (with or without photos)
– 300 points for a featured product review
– 400 points for a featured product review with 3+ photos.

Featured products can be identified by this icon on their listing:

Q: What should I put in the reviews and my photos?

A: Only review products you’ve tried yourself.

Don’t copy other people’s reviews – all reviews must be original. Also don’t copy your own reviews, even if the products are very similar (for example, if a brand has two flavours of baby food, don’t copy part of one review to use in another one).

Be honest, and try to answer questions others may have, such as:

Q: Can I start multiple accounts, or can my partner start an account?

A: Only one account may be created per household. If we suspect that a second account has been opened we may ask to see your partner’s ID, or we can deactivate your account without further negotiation. Any vouchers earned using either account will not be paid. You will also be ineligible for our trial and sample teams. This keeps it fair for the reviewers who do the right thing and only have one account per household.

Points 

Q: How can I check how many points I have?

A: To see your points, log in to your account then click on your profile icon at the top right of each page. Visit your Profile page now to check your points balance and redeem your reward.

Q: When will my review be published, and when will I get my points?

A: It can take around 24-48 hours for our moderators to check and publish your review, and to have your points added to your account.

Q: Will my points expire if I don’t use them?

A: No, your points will not expire.

 

Rewards

Q: What are the rewards?

A: You can redeem your points for rewards when you earn the following points. After redeeming a reward, you can review more products to earn more points and more vouchers/shop credit.

3000 points = a $20 gift card 

It can take 8-10 weeks to receive your Coles, Kmart or Target voucher via email after placing your order and verifying your ID. Please check your spam folder if it hasn’t arrived after this time.

Q: How do I claim a reward?

A: To claim your points as a gift card:

  1. Go to your profile page
  2. Click the ‘Redeem’ button. If the button is not active, it means you do not have enough points yet. You need at least 3000 points to redeem a reward.
  3. A popup will appear allowing you to select which reward you want to redeem.

If you have enough points to redeem more than one gift card, repeat the steps above for each reward.

If it’s your first time redeeming points, we’ll need to verify your ID (see question below). This only needs to be done once.

Q: How do I verify my ID?

A: Before making a redemption for the first time, you must provide a valid form of photo ID, such as a driver’s licence. This is because we must ensure that member accounts are legitimate and belong to real people who reside in Australia. This is also used to check against fraudulent accounts.

You can provide your ID to us at any time using this form. You will be asked to send photos of the card – both the back and front. You can edit out your licence number and signature – we just need to see your name, address, date of birth and photo.

We may ask to see additional proof of residency at any time during your membership.

If you don’t have a licence or proof of age card, please email us at community@tellmegroup.com and we will organise another option for you.

Q: When will I get my voucher?

A: It’s currently taking around 8-10 weeks to receive your gift card via email after placing your order and verifying your ID.

The email sender shows as ‘Tell Me Rewards’ and the email address is delivery@mail.prezzee.com.au. Please check your spam folder as it may end up there.

Q: How can I receive free products for trial and reviews?

A: Please join our Facebook group so you can join our special trial teams and keep an eye out for emails for more ways to earn rewards.

Cashback

Q: What is cashback and how does it work?

A: Cashback is another way to earn rewards with Tell Me Rewards. Link your eligible Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card to your account, and you’ll automatically earn cashback on qualifying purchases made through our partner brands.

Q: How do I sign up for cashback?

A: If you’re already a Tell Me Rewards member, simply link your eligible card(s) to your account through the website or app. If you’re not a member yet, sign up for a free account and then link your card(s).

Q: How do I find cashback offers?

A: You can find all cashback offers in the “Cashback Offers” section of the website or app. Click on the “Cashback” tab in the main menu to access this section.

Q: What happens with my credit/debit card data?

A: We do not store your credit/debit card details. Your card provider securely communicates with our partners, which allows us to track and reward you with cashback.

Q: How is Tell Me Rewards cashback different to other cashback programs?

A: With Tell Me Rewards, you earn cashback while supporting a community of parents and pet owners. Plus, there are no extra plugins or websites required – you can shop directly through our platform.

Q: Is there a limit on how much cashback I can earn?

A: No, there’s no limit on how much cashback you can earn.

Q: Does my cashback balance ever expire?

A: If your Tell Me Rewards account remains inactive for 18 months, your cashback balance may expire. But don’t worry, we’ll let you know if your account is at risk of becoming inactive.

Q: Can I use other cashback offers or discounts with Tell Me Rewards cashback?

A: You may be able to use other offers or discounts in conjunction with Tell Me Rewards cashback, but this depends on the specific retailer’s terms and conditions.

Q: How do I know I earned cashback on my transaction?

A: After you make an eligible cashback transaction, you will receive a notification in the Tell Me Rewards app to let you know we are tracking it to give you cashback. It will also appear as pending in your cashback transactions under your account profile. If you don’t receive a notification within 5 days, please check the cashback offer details and confirm you used a linked card to make the purchase before contacting us.

Q: How do I view all my cashback transactions?

A: You can view your cashback transactions via the Tell Me Rewards app. Tap on “Profile” at the top, then “Cashback” and head to the account management page. You’ll see the available transactions and a button called “Transactions” directly underneath.

Q: What is the minimum amount I can withdraw?

A: You must have at least $10 in available cashback balance to make a withdrawal.

Q: What does ‘available balance,’ ‘pending transaction,’ and ‘cancelled transaction’ mean?

Q: What if I accidentally use an unlinked card? Can I still get cashback?

A: Unfortunately, no. The transaction won’t be recognized by the retailer to link to your Tell Me Rewards cashback account unless you use a linked card.

Q: What happens if I return an item that was part of a cashback transaction?

A: The value of cashback earned on any returned items will be removed from your cashback balance.

Q: I want to dispute a missing cashback transaction, who can I speak to?

A: You can contact us at community@tellmegroup.com to dispute a missing cashback transaction. Please provide us with your account details and the transaction information so we can investigate.

A: You can link up to five debit or credit cards. We accept Visa and Mastercard (excluding PayPal). You can also use your digital wallet (Apple Pay, Google Wallet) if the card registered is also linked to your Tell Me Rewards account.

Q: I want to cancel my membership, do I lose my cashback?

A: Before you cancel your membership, you can withdraw your available cashback balance as long as it’s more than $10. If it’s less than $10 and you cancel your membership, you’ll lose the available balance.

Q: How do I manage my linked cards and bank account details?

A: You can manage your linked cards and bank account details in the profile section of the Tell Me Rewards app or through the “My Account” section on our website.

Q: How do I withdraw my cashback?

A: Head to the Tell Me Rewards app and select “Profile,” then tap “Cashback.” You’ll see a button to withdraw under your available balance if it’s $10 or above.

Q: How long does it take for cashback to appear in my account after I withdraw it?

A: After you withdraw your cashback, it can take up to 1-2 business days to appear in your bank account.

Q: I’m having trouble with my password – help!

A: If you can’t remember your password, try the password reset option. You’ll be sent an email with a replacement password. Please check your spam folder for the email as it may end up there.

If that doesn’t work, email us community@tellmegroup.com and we’ll sort it out.

Terms and Conditions of the Tell Me Rewards Program

Tell Me Group offers all users access to the Tell Me Rewards Program as part of its services. This program consists of two sub-programs:

  1. Review Products and Earn Points: Earn points by submitting product reviews, which you can then redeem for gift cards from selected retailers.
  2. Earn Cashback When You Shop: Link your eligible cards and earn cashback on purchases made through our partner brands.
