A double pram that’s no wider than a single, the Mountain Buggy Duet converts from a single buggy with loads of storage to a double side-by-side pram. Parents in the Tell Me Baby community have used this pram for twins and siblings close in age, and they love it.
One reviewer said, “Perfect double pram for children 2 years or less apart. We used this for 5 years for 3 children in total, and it withstood rain and mud on countless walks through the park and beach. Excellent lightweight double pram that fits into most aisles as it is the same width of single prams. Great thick wheels with good suspension for walks and runs, large basket easy access. Love it!”

A popular choice for parents, the Bugaboo Donkey2 Duo converts from single to double pram in three clicks, and it’s easy to push and manoeuvre with one hand thanks to its big wheels and tight turn radius.
One mum said in her review, “Oh man, I love this pram! It’s so lightweight, easy to convert to a double and then back to single. Good width still gets through normal doorways. I love you can have forward facing, rear facing and they don’t need to be facing the same way. Good storage underneath. If you’re going to buy a double, this is the one.”

A side-by-side double pram, the Baby Jogger City Mini GT Double is easy to manoeuvre and steer one-handed.
One reviewer summed up this pram nicely. “A double pram that holds my 20kg toddler, my 12kg baby, my groceries in the large storage basket underneath…and still allows me to steer it one-handed, while I drink my coffee! Yes! I like to walk heaps, so a double pram that’s nice to push was a must for me. It folds ridiculously easy, and although it’s big and wide, it folds quite flat, so there’s still lots of room in my boot for groceries,” they said.
